Tree Removal

We specialize in removing trees in a safe and controlled manner, with minimal impact to your landscape and property. Whether it can be felled in one piece or needs to be climbed and carefully rigged down in sections, we have the tools and the training to make nearly any tree disappear with hardly a trace. If your tree contains serious defects which make it dangerous, is in the way of proposed construction, or is simply the wrong tree in the wrong place, we can help.

Tree Pruning

Pruning can be done for a variety of reasons.
Safety Pruning removes dead, diseased, or dangerous limbs two inches in diameter or larger throughout the canopy.
Fine pruning removes dead, diseased, or dangerous limbs half an inch in diameter or larger. This makes the tree as clean and beautiful as it can be.
Structural Pruning may be done to remove a co-dominant stem or other structural defects or weaknesses.
Canopy Elevation is done to remove low-hanging branches over your yard or roof.
Vista Pruning can be done to open up a desirable view on your property. This service is popular with our Hill Country and Lakeside clients.
CTC is diligent to use proper pruning methods, to seal wounds on Oak trees, and to employ a spike-less climbing system when we prune.

Ball Moss Removal

No need to panic! Unlike Mistletoe, Ball Moss is not a parasite sucking the life out of your tree. It’s actually a flowering plant, which draws its nutrients from the air, and just uses the tree as a place to sit. However, heavy infestations of Ball Moss in your tree can block sunlight and crowd out leaves. Also, many tree owners simply prefer to enjoy the beauty and form of their tree without all the gray fuzz. Fine pruning removes the majority of Ball Moss, and we can pluck the remainder by hand for a clean, refined appearance.

Storm Cleanup

Feel free to give us a call during a storm if you have an emergency tree situation that requires immediate attention. If we can’t get to it right away, we’ll try to refer you to someone who can. Water-saturated soil and high winds create perfect conditions for uprooted trees. CTC is also fully equipped to be the first responders after a storm, and we can handle removing any size fallen tree or branch on structures or vehicles without causing further damage. We can also clean up and haul off storm-related debris.

Lot Clearing

We specialize in low-impact, small lot clearing without damage to any remaining trees or their root zones. For example, some clients like to have the Cedar cleared off of their property, but the Oaks preserved unharmed. We can perform selective tree removal, lot thinning, or a complete lot clearing.

Log Splitting

If you need logs or rounds split, we have the equipment to do it. Also, when you hire CTC to remove a tree, you have the option of having us split and stack all or part of the wood for you.

Tree Planting

Trees can increase property value, provide protection from the hot Texas sun, and add beauty and elegance to your landscape. Crown Tree Care can professionally install small trees, hedges, and shrubs, and provide instruction on their care and maintenance.

Wood Chipping, Debris Disposal, and Cleanup

Crown Tree Care can chip or haul brush, logs, and debris as an independent service or as part of our other services. Customers can keep any wood they want, and we dispose of the rest. One of our business principles is to leave your property better than we found it, and we go above and beyond to perform a thorough cleanup on every job.
